What to expect: Our journey begins at the Museo Casa Estudio Diego Rivera y Frida Kahlo, an icon of 20th-century functionalist architecture. Here, we explore the creative environment where Rivera worked and where Frida briefly lived, gaining insight into their artistic and political world.
We then continue to the UNAM Central Campus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where Mexican Muralism reaches its most monumental scale. The experience culminates at the breathtaking Biblioteca Central UNAM, covered in Juan O’Gorman’s iconic mosaic mural, a visual narration of Mexican history from pre-Hispanic civilizations to modern Mexico.
Then, we arrive at the Frida Kahlo Museum (Casa Azul) in Coyoacán, her birthplace, home and creative sanctuary. Here, we immerse ourselves in her world: her self-portraits, personal belongings, traditional clothing.
This tour moves from monumental public art to deeply personal storytelling offering a complete understanding of Kahlo and Rivera’s legacy.
