What happens when I make my online booking?When you complete your booking on our secure website, you will receive an automated order confirmation containing booking details and meeting point information, including directions on how to arrive using all available public transportation options.
What is the Cancellation Policy?As long as you provide 48 hours' notice, we can change or fully refund your booking, unless it includes a visit to the Frida Kahlo Museum.
Tours run regardless of weather conditions. Due to the attention and organization that goes into each tour, please take careful note of our cancellation policies:
- Cancellations must be communicated by email to info.cityarttours@gmail.com at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure time to request a refund.
- Cancellations received within 48 hours of the tour date are non-refundable.
- In the case of tours where museum tickets are included and are non-refundable (such as the Frida Kahlo Tour), the reservations are non-refundable.
- To change the time or date of an existing reservation, an administration fee may apply.
Late arrivals and No ShowsDue to extremely strict time slots for entry into attractions, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes before the scheduled starting time of the tour. Our groups begin and depart precisely at the scheduled start time. If you arrive late or cannot find the meeting point for any reason, refund requests will not be honored as per our policy. If you're having difficulty arriving on time, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible so we can assist you in arriving at the meeting point on time or reschedule you for the next available tour.
Cancellations due to flights, cars, or illnessAs stated above, we do not refund clients who do not show up on time for tours. This policy includes, but is not limited to, tardiness due to flight or bus cancellations, delays, issues caused by traffic or congestion, or illness. In general, we do not offer refunds for any group tour cancellations made within 48 hours of the tour date.
Discount codesDiscount codes are valid for new bookings only. They are not eligible for pre-existing bookings and cannot be applied retrospectively.
Gift cardsGift cards are non-refundable.
Amendment policyWe are happy to assist you with rescheduling your tour free of charge for any requests made more than 48 hours before the tour date. We reserve the right to charge an amendment fee for rescheduling within 48-24 hours before the tour date, depending on the situation. This is subject to availability and price changes. Generally, we only charge for any additional costs we incur, such as tickets. We have no intention of profiting from disruptions to your vacation and will work with providers and suppliers to minimize these costs.
Are your tours designed for children? If so, how much will I need to pay?Children of all ages are welcome on our tours. If they are 2 years old or younger, there is no cost.
Are gift certificates available?Travel
gift certificates are available and make a wonderful present for anyone who is visiting or lives in any of our cities.
Can I book a private tour or class for my group?Yes. We offer private group tours and custom tours for groups of any size. All custom tours are priced upon request, so please contact us through our private tours page for more information.
Do I have to book in advance? Can I just arrive and pay cash?All tours must be purchased on our website. Walk-ups or cash sales are not accepted.
Are tips included in the price?Gratuities are not included in your tour price and are always greatly appreciated.

TOUR LOGISTICSWhere do the tours start and finish?The exact location of the meeting point for your walking tour or experience will be provided immediately upon booking. Our tours are held within easy reach of all modes of public transport. Most tours finish at the meeting point or close by.
How long do tours run for?The duration of our walking tours is approximately 2-3 hours. Specific details can be found on each tour's page.
What is the size of the tour group?The maximum number of people on our tours is 10. However, most of the time, we manage small groups.
How much walking is there?Tours last approximately 2 to 3 hours, and we will be on our feet for most of the time. Wear comfortable shoes to be on the safe side! Bring some water.
Are tours held in bad weather?All of our tours go ahead – rain, hail, or shine! In case of rain, we are able to go inside many locations, and there are other places where we can stay dry. We kindly ask you to check the weather forecast and dress appropriately.
Are your tours only available in English?At present, our tours are led in English and Spanish. However, should you require another language, please don't hesitate to contact us for arrangements, as we have guides who speak multiple languages.
