This hands-on experience is suitable for beginners, photography enthusiasts and advanced amateurs using a DSLR, mirrorless camera or smartphone. Your professional photographer guide will adapt the instruction to your experience, interests and equipment.

As you walk through the city, stop at carefully selected locations to practise working with natural light, composition, perspective, framing and selective focus. Camera users can also receive guidance on moving beyond automatic or program mode and using their equipment more creatively.

San Miguel de Allende’s colorful façades, cobblestone streets, historic doorways, plazas and architectural details provide a wide variety of photographic subjects. Because the workshop is private, you will receive personalized guidance throughout the experience. By the end of the workshop, you will have a stronger understanding of photography and a collection of images you created yourself.
